Each Privateer Boat is warranted to the original purchaser to be free of defects in workmanship for a period of 10 years if used for pleasure.  Commercial use will entail a 5 year warranty period.  All necessary repair will be made at Privateer Boat Company in Belhaven North Carolina unless arrangements are made through Privateer.  All warranty work must have a written approval from the factory to be covered.  Transportation charges are the responsibility of the owner whether it is repaired at the factory or elsewhere.
     Privateer's warranty does not apply to mechanical or electrical system installed as such have their own manufacturer's warranty.  Gel coat, glass breakage or damage from accidents, misuse, negligence, improper trailering, overloading or overpowering boats with higher than recommended horsepower will not be covered by Privateer's warranty.  Any structural change will void the warranty. 
     Privateer Boat Company reserves the right to change specifications and prices without notice.
